Supp Pro

When you perform shifts on Supp, you’ll have to declare this income at the end of the tax year in your income tax filing. You don’t have to actually pay your taxes until after the end of the financial year (31 December in the US), but we recommend saving at least 20% of all income earned through Supp, so you’re not caught by surprise.‍In January, Supp will send you a summary of your income earned through this platform. You’ll need to report this income to the tax office so they can calculate how much tax you owe.

Supp Passport

Here’s how it works: You sign-up where you want to work shifts today - this is your Home Region - where you’ll have full functionality of the app for free. To work shifts in other locations, you’ll need to become a subscriber. Once subscribed, you can line up work before you arrive at your destination, or update your Home Region after moving city. The Home Region setting is how Supp knows what shifts to notify you about, so it’s worth keeping it up to date.  Next time you’re on the move, rather than rebuilding your professional network from scratch, subscribe to Supp Pro and tap into the Supp community. We take our hospitality skills with us everywhere, so why not pull a few shifts along the way?

Verified Badge

Displaying a verified badge on your public user profile builds trust with managers, and makes you a more attractive candidate for both temp and permanent positions, thereby increasing your job offers.

With three simple steps —keeping your account active, completing ID verification through Stripe, and subscribing to our premium Supp Pro feature — a user may get a verified badge.

Please note that all workers on Supp must verify their ID prior to performing any work. Supp partners with ‘Stripe’ for this detailed ID verification process. Workers have the option to subscribe to Supp Pro to display a badge which advertises their ID verification to potential hirers, as such no verification badge does not mean a worker hasn't completed the ID verification process.
